 Barbara Sandford, who has been a supporter of the Lake Wentworth Association for more years than most people have been alive was made a life member of the association at the Annual Meeting of the LWA on August 8th, 2009.
Barbara Sandford has been a supporter of the lake, always wanting to try to keep it
pristine and has continued to be a mover and shaker. When there was a need to purchase
Stamp Act Island, she was there to bring the project to a successful
conclusion. When there was a need to upgrade the buoys around the
lake, she was there. Her family has supported her efforts and are now
following in her footsteps to preserve the lake.
