Ice Out - 3/5/2010 12:35 PMI'm afraid that we'll still be ice skating on the 5th. I'm planning to put my boat in the water right after the ice goes out in the afternoon on the 8th.

Ice Out - 3/6/2010 1:51 PMI see many fishing shacks gone off the big lake as I check out the webcams. Did they ever work on the Mount Washington as planned? I loved the ride on that boat. Is anyone still fishing on Wentworth?

Ice Out - 3/7/2010 4:04 PMNew engines were being installed in the Mount last week. New Caterpillar diesels which are enviro-friendly, more economical and much lighter. Not much fishing on the Lake now but a couple of ice boats were out this weekend

Ice Out - 3/8/2010 2:37 AMAs soon as possible, I hope. It's an early vacation rental week for me this year. It'd be nice to have the water as close to 70° as possible by June 19.
I'll say March 26 at 3:55pm.

Ice Out - 3/14/2010 8:05 AMI see water along the shore for the first time this morning! Warm temps of later in the week should reveal more. It's like a hurricaine here in Boston.

Ice Out - 3/16/2010 12:27 PMThere's looks to be ample open water around Gull Rock near where I'll be staying this year. I like the thought of "coming home" to Holden Shore after being over at Warren Sands for the past five years.
Now, if I could actually afford a place of my own on the Lake...

Ice Out - 3/16/2010 5:15 PMI've been checking the webcam for the last 2 days. Where is all the ice? Any reports? Do you expect ice-out in the next few days?

Ice Out - 3/17/2010 3:38 PMIt looks like there's still some around by the Heath in the distance. As I recall when visiting by Hersey shore one March, there was still a ton of ice down by the state park and Fernald's crossing side.

Ice Out - 3/17/2010 4:37 PMThe ice is all at the eastern end of the lake. It could go tonight or tomorrow if the current wind keeps up. The last two days were very calm.
