Any signs of nesting loons yet? Heard them calling? Can’t wait to get up there, counting the days since June1! All who are there enjoy the surroundings and nature.

How about ducks and geese. We have seen only one family of mergansers. Have the eagles thinned the populations this year? I thought they were fish seekers.

we have seen a few families of ducks both mallards and mergansers including one that had 15 little ones, also a family of geese with 4 goslings.

Out fishing yesterday morning and saw two adult loons with two little babies between Bass Island and Stamp Act Island.
